Our Work, Every project below solved a specific problem for a family. Here’s what they were facing, what we captured, and what changed as a result.

Founder → Family Transition

What was preserved: the values and mindset behind every decision, his process, his philosophy, the intent that made him succeed as a founder

What changed: each child became his successor in their own unique way

This film also explores the evolution from Charles as a founder, to Charles as a father. We captured the intimate moments between Charles and his children. We listened to family stories and how each one of his children were impacted and shaped by their father. By the end, we were presented with a picture of how Charles gradually passed the baton to his 5 children. They each became his successor in their own unique way.

Charles’s daughter commissioned this film because she watched her father’s values, the ones that built the family, begin to fade from the next generation’s awareness. She wasn’t worried about the money. She was worried about the meaning. The film now serves as the family’s permanent record of what it cost to build what they have, and what’s expected of the people who inherit it.

Multi-Generational Family

What was preserved: values of generosity, kindness, and authenticity, and a shared mission to make a positive impact

What changed: three generations now work together, with bridges built and lines of communication cultivated

Graham Holloway was a man who defied the odds. Born during the Great Depression in the rural South, Graham came from humble beginnings. As a boy, he worked for his father’s family business and went on to become a master salesman and businessman. He eventually became both the President and Chair of the Capital Group– one of the largest asset managers worldwide.

Then Graham decided to give back. His humble upbringing taught him the importance of “giving people a leg up.” He lived his life through values such as generosity, kindness, and authenticity. In the mid 90s, he and his wife, Carolyn, started the Holloway Family Foundation. 

The Holloway Family Foundation now consists of first, second, and third generation family members– all working together to honor Graham’s legacy. This film captures Graham’s steadfast values in action.

Throughout the process, bridges were built amongst generations. Lines of communication were cultivated. The family was aligned with a shared memory, a shared goal, and a shared mission to make a positive impact.

Third and fourth-generation family members who had been disengaged from the foundation’s work chose to become actively involved by the end of the project. The film gave them something no
family meeting could: an understanding of what Graham sacrificed, what he believed, and why the foundation exists. It didn’t just preserve a story. It reactivated a family

What changed: the film became a tool to align members, educate new members, and recruit for humanitarian endeavors

Rotary International has been leading the charge to fully eradicate polio since 1979. This award-winning documentary follows a group of Rotarians in India during a mass inoculation event. Throughout the process, we were able to see firsthand Rotary’s mission in action. Rotarians went from house to house, providing “two magic drops” to vulnerable children in impoverished areas.

This film now serves as a tool for Rotary to align their members, educate members, and recruit new members for their humanitarian endeavors. The film not only serves as an emotional reminder of those in need, but a call to action to use our privilege for the betterment of mankind.

This film is now used by Rotary International as an alignment and recruitment tool— proof that a single documentary can anchor an organization’s mission across decades of leadership transitions.
